Amita Dholakia
Amita was born and educated in India. After attaining her MBA from IIM-Bangalore, one of the top Asian management institutes, she worked with Colgate-Palmolive and Unilever as a marketing professional. She moved to Singapore in 2002 with her one-month-old baby daughter, working as a consultant with a customer management consulting firm on projects with McDonald's and HP. Her son Vir was born in 2004 in Singapore. 

Her book Working Mothers, Happy Kids was conceptualized after extensive research with many mothers and experiencing, at first hand, the trials of working freelance and raising kids.
