Blacksmith Books is operated by Blacksmith Media Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong. Our website is https://www.blacksmithbooks.com. Our registered office is at Unit 26, 19/F, Block B, Wah Lok Industrial Centre, 37-41 Shan Mei Street, Fo Tan, Hong Kong.
Delivery policies
We send all packages with a tracking number. This sometimes requires a signature on delivery. If you are out when the package is delivered, your local postal service will try again later, and if unsuccessful a second time, will usually leave a card for you to collect the package at the nearest post office.
If the package remains uncollected after 28 days, or if the address is incorrect or incomplete, it will be returned to us. In the case of incorrect address, we can resend but we have to charge the cost of repeat postage. To prevent this happening, please take care to provide us with the correct address when ordering. Adding a phone number when you place your order will help to ensure delivery.
All delivery times are estimates only and, while we make best efforts to avoid delay, we will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from delay in delivery. We may deliver the books by instalments. Delivery charges will be those set out at the time you placed your order.
We will deliver the books to the address you notify to us when you place your order. We will dispatch your physical books within three working days and/or within three working days of the book becoming available if a pre-order. However, delivery times vary according to destination.
You agree that we will not be responsible for failure to deliver the book if you have supplied us with an incorrect address.
Returns and refunds
If the book we have delivered is the wrong book, is defective or is damaged in transit, please let us know straight away, and we will either replace it at no charge or issue a refund. There is no need to return a damaged book to us; a photo of the damaged item will be good enough. Refunds will be made to the same method of payment you used in buying from the website.
