Many of my repatriated H K folks are thinking of leaving because they don’t want their children to be brain-washed by communist indoctrination introduced soon. H K is not what it is. You need more conventional marketing techniques to go beyond H K. Start with Asia and North America, especially the latter. If a book becomes a text-book type for Asian studies on campus, it can sell tens of thousands. Amy Tan’s books are prescribed text books on campus. Frankie Fook-lun Leung April 8, 2013 at 11:33 am - ReplyI just attended the Association of Asian Studies annual conference. Major publishers on Asian subjects have exhibition booths there. You were not there. How do you expect North American readers know about your presence? Pete April 17, 2013 at 4:42 pm - ReplyI didn’t know about it, sorry, but we can’t be everywhere.Leave a reply Cancel reply This site uses Akismet to reduce spam.
